SAN is a copolymerization of styrene-acrylonitrile. Acrylonitrile monomer (AN) is added to styrene monomer (SM) to copolymerize SAN, also commonly known as the AS Resin. SAN not only retains the transparency of GPPS, it also has more chemical resistance and slightly increased surface hardness. Under natural conditions, it is a bright yellowish transparent object. The SAN product manufactured by our unique continuous process has good transparency, uniform high gloss, chemical resistance, superior heat resistance, rigidity, and stability.

SAN is the best material for cosmetic containers, lighter casings, food processing containers, battery casings, detergent sprayer apparatuses, etc. In fact, SAN has been applied in the manufacturing of hundreds of consumer products globally, including products of various grades from high heat resistance to transparent products. SANhas also been UL and CUL certified.
